Getting the most from your hair appointment

25 July 2026

A little preparation goes a long way. Whether you're coming in for a trim, a colour, or a full restyle, these small things help us give you exactly what you're after.

Bring pictures

Words like "a bit shorter" or "warmer blonde" mean different things to different people. A few photos of what you like — and one or two of what you don't — tell us more in seconds than a long conversation can. Screenshots on your phone are perfect.

Come with your hair as it usually is

There's no need to wash it specially or style it differently. Seeing your hair the way it normally sits helps us understand how it behaves day to day, which shapes what will actually work for you.

Be honest about your routine

If you've got five minutes in the morning, tell us. A cut that needs twenty minutes of styling will only frustrate you. We'd rather give you something that looks good with the effort you'll genuinely put in.

Think about timing

If you're going somewhere special, book a week or two before rather than the day itself. It gives colour time to settle and leaves room to adjust anything you're not sure about.

Ask questions

If you're curious about a treatment, unsure whether a colour will suit you, or wondering how to recreate a style at home, just ask. It's your appointment, and there's no such thing as a silly question.
