When a lash lift is not the right choice
A lash lift suits most people who want lifted, defined lashes with very little upkeep, but there are times when it is not the right booking, and the most common one is simply a matter of timing.
Please talk to us before booking if:
- You cannot have a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment
- You are hoping to have the patch test on the same day as the treatment
- You are looking for added length or volume from extensions rather than a lift of your own lashes
- You cannot avoid getting your lashes wet, wearing makeup or using oil-based products for 24 hours afterwards
A patch test is quick and free of charge, but it has to be done at least 48 hours beforehand and cannot be done on the day, however far in advance the appointment itself is booked. A lash lift or tint cannot go ahead without one, so please book yours in good time.
A lash lift is also not the answer if what you want is synthetic lashes added. It curls and lifts the lashes you already have, which is a softer, lower-maintenance result than extensions rather than the same thing done differently.
