What is a gel pedicure?
A gel pedicure combines a thorough foot and nail treatment with the application of long-lasting gel polish, cured under a UV or LED lamp. Unlike standard polish, gel pedicures resist chipping and keep their high-shine finish for weeks. The treatment includes nail shaping, cuticle care and a smooth, polished result.
Gel pedicures are one of our most popular treatments for clients wanting durable colour with minimal upkeep.
Complete the look by pairing your pedicure with gel nails.
Which nail service should you choose?
A gel pedicure and our hand services use the same cured gel idea, but they are applied to different nails and they wear differently, which is usually what decides it.

When a gel pedicure is not the right choice
A gel pedicure suits most people who want durable colour with little upkeep, but it is a cosmetic treatment rather than a medical one, and there are times we would ask you to wait.
Please contact us before your appointment if you have:
- A suspected fungal nail infection
- Broken, bleeding or inflamed skin
- Significant swelling or pain
- Pus or another sign of infection
- A recently injured toenail
- A rash, or a previous allergic reaction around the nails
Covering a possible infection with gel does not treat it and makes any change harder to monitor. The NHS advises speaking to a pharmacist or GP about a suspected fungal nail infection, particularly if it is spreading or you have diabetes or a weakened immune system.
If you have diabetes, neuropathy, poor circulation or a history of ulcers, please speak to your podiatrist or healthcare team first and let us know before treatment. A beauty pedicure is not a substitute for clinical foot care from a qualified podiatrist.
A gel pedicure is also the wrong booking if what you need is product taken off. We do not remove or infill nail products applied by other salons, so please have existing product removed by the original salon before your appointment.

FAQs
Gel Pedicure FAQs
When applied and removed correctly, gel polish should not damage your natural nails. Our technicians use professional products and gentle techniques to protect nail health.
To keep your gel pedicure looking its best, we recommend moisturising your feet daily, using cuticle oil and avoiding tight or rubbing footwear immediately after your appointment.
